YOUNG and old are urged to shake the dust off their takkies on Saturday to take part in the fourth annual Beacon Bay Retail Park Breakfast Run.
The 5km family event brings the community together to enjoy a fun run /walk in support of charities who will benefit from funds raised.
Property administrator for Beacon Bay Retail Park, Debra Kapp, said: “Round Table number one is once again excited to be involved in this year’s Breakfast Run, as funds raised will be used to purchase much needed supplies for those in need.
“The Breakfast Run is currently in its fourth year and following last year’s successful turnout of over 1000 participants, this year will be no exception. We encourage corporate entities, friends and families to enter the race as it certainly will be one to remember,” Kapp said.
Entries cost R30. You can register at Sportsman’s Warehouse today and Friday or enter on the day between 6.30 and 7am. The race will begin at 7.15 sharp. With entries currently exceeding 600, all T-shirts have been handed to the first lucky 500 entrants, but there are still loads of breakfast vouchers up for grabs.
Finishers will be spoilt for choice, with vouchers from restaurants such as McDonalds, Wimpy, Cafe Bella and John Dory’s whilst juniors will be spoilt once again with compliments of Wykato Spur.
