Vibey Morgan Bay festival in store

THE ever popular Morgan Bay Footprints Festival takes place this weekend from Friday to Sunday.

Visitors can expect something for the whole family, with a craft market, live music, buskers, a fun run, pony rides and more.

The Morganville Motorcycle Museum will also be open.

The organisers said this year’s live music would be “phenomenal”, with East London band Can of Worms playing, as well as Roxton met Herki, Kerry Hiles and Kathy Raven, to name a few.

Seven main participating venues will offer live entertainment on Friday night, Saturday during the day and night, and on Sunday at lunchtime

Also, this year’s event coincides with World Environment Day.

The organisers said the annual festival helped to raise money for the impoverished local community, and to improve the infrastructure of Morgan Bay and its surrounds.

It also created employment for people from the local community.

Visit the website www.footprintsfestival. co.za and the festival’s Facebook page for more details.

All are welcome to come and join in on the fun and activities.
