Schools EVERY HOTDOG HAS ITS DAY By Madeleine Chaput - February 23, 2017 Facebook Twitter Google+ Pinterest WhatsApp Little Beacons pupils celebrate their termly Hot Diggity Dog Day as part of the school’s fundraising for the year with each pupil paying R10 for a scrumptious hotdog. The funds are used to buy equipment, books and other school supplies. This year, Spargs has sponsored rolls for every term. The leftover hotdogs are donated to Greensleeves home for orphaned and abandoned children, as the school also donates ‘love sandwiches’ to the organisation every Wednesday.
