This 35km adventure challenge will steer teams of two through a marked course exploring the stunning parts of the East London outskirts as they collect checkpoints and race to the finish.

The Won Adventure team have paired up with Merrell Adventure addict Donovan Sims to create a diverse and exciting route.

According to co-race organiser Bruce Viaene, athletes can look forward to experiencing an exciting new event that will help expose East Londoners to the beautiful outdoors.

The BushWhacker Tuff course will display markings all along the route to ensure athletes enjoy the challenge without the worry of getting lost.

A 30m waterfall abseil, trail run, mountain bike and kloofing leg will consume the 35km adventure experience. “This is a great event for newcomers and people looking to be introduced to adventure racing, but also an ideal event for those athletes looking to explore the great outdoors or simply use it for training,” Viaene said.

The BushWhacker Tuff will start at 3 Silo’s Adventure Trails, venturing teams through Hill View and its surrounding lush trails on March 26.

Enter online via www.wonadventure.co.za before March 22. Team entries include trail fees, a BushWhacker Tuff snap-back cap, and a whole lot of fun.
