Q: What motivates you to achieve more in life?
A: I know my healing hands are a gift I must use to the fullest to support my family and assist my clients in achieving their sporting goals. I look around at the hardworking informal sector workers and I am inspired to work as hard to make a success of my business and the opportunities it presents.
Q: What keeps you grounded?
A: My grandmother always told me to respect myself and others, continuously be open to learn and to live by the Bible. These are values that I still live by today and they keep me grounded.
Q: What is your motto in life?
A: To use every opportunity presented to me to make people healthy and happy.
Q: What do you value the most?
A: My two sweet girls; Zenande and Phiwokuhle who I live for. I value the close and supportive relationship we share.
Q: What would you like to see change in your country?
A: I would like to see changes in our country’s challenges with education, crime and xenophobia. I believe it all starts at the top.
Q: What is your favourite family destination in East London?
A: My family and I spend every Saturday at our favourite place; our church in Mdantsane, where we enjoy singing, learning, praying and appreciating each other’s company.
Q: Where is your favourite place to eat in East London?
A: I love going to Sanook Cafe. I enjoy the atmosphere and love the salmon Panini.
