JOIN Mansoor Galant, Zin Jammer and fitness instructor Lisa Botha at Hudson Park Primary School hall on May 19 if you would like to get into shape with Zumba.
Galant is hosted by Botha who is a registered and licensed fitness instructor.
A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to the Frere children’s oncology unit.
Botha has been teaching Zumba classes for seven years with numbers of participants increasing to the popularity of her workouts.
Zumba is a dance fitness programme which involves dance and aerobic movements performed to energetic music.
Organiser Sharon Eldridge said Galant contacted Botha as he wanted to see what Zumba is all about in East London.
“He will be teaching a 90-minute class and there is no doubt this is going to be fun-filled workout!”
Galant is a real Jack-of-all-trades – hairstylist, make-up artist, fashion designer, as well as teaching five classes of Zumba a week.
“Zumba has taken him as far as India, the UK, Scotland, Poland, Mauritius, Botswana and Orlando in the US. To add to his impressive profile, he is also the designer and choreographer for the Cape Town Carnival,” Eldridge said.
Tickets are R120per person, R10 for spectators and the first 100 entrants will receive goodie bags.
