Eight pupils from Clarendon High School for Girls attended the South African Championships of Performing Arts in Johannesburg in April. They were all chosen to represent South Africa in Los Angeles in July. Between them, the Clarendon girls were awarded 34 gold medals in total. Dance styles range from hip-hop and contemporary, to pantsula, African and jazz. We wish Siphesihle Hulana, Tayla Meecham, Shanea Miller, Buhle Rwayi, Alizwa Sotshongaye, Nicole Thompson, Megan Thurston and Lithisivuyise Zozo all the best as they endeavour to take their place on the world stage in the United States Picture: SUPPLIED
