ALL Saints Daycare in Parkside held a Prayer Day recently.
Young and old people from Parkside gathered at the daycare playground to enjoy a meal and celebrate the day.
Among the guests was Pastor Lelethu Kenny Tukuvana, who donated 34 pairs of brand new school shoes to the children.
Tukuvana said it had touched his heart when he came to the area and saw some children walking to school barefoot.
“I started the uniform project with two of my friends, where we donate school shoes and uniform to disadvantaged children.
“This project is very close to my heart because I am reminded of my own struggle of walking to school without shoes,” he said.
