Born in a Cage founder, Robyn Krugel, held a family fundraiser at the Beacon Bay Country Club on Saturday. With the help of the East London Community, so far Krugel has managed to save nine English Bulldogs from life in a cage and inhumane conditions in breeding kennels. Krugel’s latest success involved the successful rescuing and re-homing of four English Bulldogs, two in Johannesburg and two in East London. Unfortunately two of the dogs saved from the kennels had to be euthanised owing to the dire conditions they were in. Pictured are the happy dogs with their new families.
