Q: Occupation? (and/or) community/charity work?
A: Semi-finalist in the national Mr Justice South Africa 2017 pageants.
Q: What motivates you to achieve more in your life?
A: A belief in the future of the youth postulated by their vision for the future. I work hard believing in my role to inspire the youth to attain their dreams despite the social ills they might face.
Q: What keeps you grounded?
A: The morals and values acquired at home and church, and the continuous support of friends and family.
Q: Who is your role model?
A: My dad. He has taught me the value of respect and integrity.
Q: What is your motto in life?
A: Optimism is a strategy for creating a better future. Unless you believe that the future can be better, you are unlikely to step up and take responsibility for making it so.
Q: What book are you currently reading?
A: Joel Osteen’s book, It’s Your Time.
Other hobbies?
A: I enjoy running, hiking and swimming.
Q: What would you like to see change in our country?
A: The narrative that our nation is divided by our differences.
Q: What is your favourite family destination in East London?
A: The Nahoon Estuary Nature Reserve and Boardwalk.
Q: Where is your favourite place to eat in East London?
A: It has to be Pine Creek Restaurant and Farm stall in Beacon Bay. They serve amazing food and are ideal for our family outings. Our kids enjoy the play areas.
