Breidbach Primary rewards hard work

PARENTS, teachers and pupils packed out the community hall for the Breidbach Primary School (BPS) annual merit awards ceremony recently.

Methodist church leader Reverend Juliet Windvogel was the motivational speaker during the foundation phase event in the morning and that of the seniors in the evening.

Various pupils received certificates based on their achievements in different areas.

For the foundation phase Windvogel’s topic was “Dare to dream, young minds” and later the evening with the seniors she expanded her topic to “Dare to dream again, mighty force.”

“I come from the religious side of life, where we focus on religious rather than mainstream education.

“However, education remains the most powerful tool by which we are shaped. And the phase in which these young minds find themselves in, is the most crucial stage to set them up for greatness,” the reverend said.
