Get your adventure shoes on and get ready to rumble in King Williams Town once again at the BUCO King Adventure Challenge that will be taking place at the Dale College main fields in August 19 2018.
The Pink Fairy Multisport is proud to be bringing the race that will cater for all ages from the ages 10 and above.
Michael Webb of Pink Fairy Multisport said the race includes teams of four in the 10km challenge.
“All teams are to have one member of the opposite gender, teams of Two or Four in the 30 km Midi Challenge and teams of Two or Four in the 60km extreme Challenge,” he said.
Two-member teams may be made up of any combination but all four person teams must have a member of the opposite gender.
Webb said the teams will be running, cycling, and orienteering their way through varied terrain and obstacles.
He added that the route may also include Abseiling, rope work, a water leg, mental challenges and more. Horse riding may also be included.
“This race will be an awesome warm up race for the Cape St Francis 120 km Full Moon which is taking place one week from now and for the Lilyfontein Adventure race which is taking place three weeks later,” he said.
Route descriptions and maps will be handed out at the registration that will take place at the Dale Fields on Saturday, August 8 before the race.
Camping at the fields will be allowed and security will be provided.
All finishers will receive trophy and special Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in all categories.
Supporters will be allowed access to the route at the Daleview Equestrian Academy.
All participants are to bring an original, signed Indemnity Form to Registration.
