THE community of Mdantsane are encouraged to take part in a bootcamp on Thursday August 9 at Mdantsane NU6 Motion Fitness Parking Lot, to help raise awareness about of gender-based violence.
The founder of Hercules Bootcamp, Singwa Silinga, said that they strongly condemned gender-based violence.
“We support all women to be equal to men and stand by them in their fight.
“We chose Mdantsane as a venue because most of the NGOs we work are working with are based here,” Silinga said.
The attendees will participate in classes such as cardio box, step, and hi-lo exercises.
The event kicks off at 7am at the Mdantsane City Mall parking lot, in front of Motion Fitness in NU6, and ends at 9.30am.
Silinga said the community was outraged that “awful violence happening to our sisters and children” continued.
Refreshments will also be available at the event.
