THOUSANDS of East London residents started off their morning at the Beacon Bay Retail Park Breakfast Run on Saturday.
The 5km family event brought the community together to enjoy a fun run-walk event in support of the Round Table Number One. In the end, R15,000 was raised.
Event coordinator Tracy Mackay said the run was currently in its sixth year and proving a success. successful year.
The first male home was Luthando Hejana and the first female was Hanlie Botha.
The first junior boy to the finish was Luke Tinohof and the first junior girl Nicollete Tumbare
“This is the second time I’ve won the fun run and I am super excited, because I enjoy running and being energetic,” said Tumbare.
