The Border Clivia Interest Group will host its annual show at Pioneer Nursery in Gonubie on September 28 to 29.
Group member Peter Miles said this show was a must for any gardener.
“Every year there are more and more stunning clivias of different colours, beyond the normal well-known yellows and oranges of this beautiful and captivating indigenous plant,” Miles said.
The weekend promises to be filled with fun and flowery talks, books on sale and even a raffle.
“The talks will be on how to divide and re-pot clivias; how to hybridise and pollinate clivias to achieve a specific goal or colour; how to harvest, clean and plant seeds; and a general question and answer session,” Miles added.
This show has been a firm favourite among green-fingered folk and has been running for just over 20 years.
The event runs from 8:30am to 5pm on Saturday and from 9am to 1pm on Sunday. Entrance is free.
