The Carel du Toit Centre will host a fun-filled morning tea with Miss Deaf South Africa 2018 Lethiwe Ntaka on March 2 at Clarendon Primary School Hall. The centre helps pre-school deaf children learn to speak through the use of technology and provision of parental guidance. The NPO hosts 17 children and three teachers and relies on six fundraising events a year to support the work. Tickets are R120 per person and include a light breakfast. They are available daily from the Carel du Toit Centre at 01 Cheltenham Road, Selborne (Across the road from Clarendon Primary and next to Frere Hospital) between 07.30am and 2.30pm.
