Sundale Dairy recently partnered with Hope Schools to provide a regular supply of dairy products to pupils, as well as educational material and factory tours.

“Our partnership with Hope Schools is underpinned by our desire and intention to work more closely with schools in the province to educate children about the importance of pasteurisation in particular.

“By supporting our partnership with educational materials, we are able to provide meaningful support to educators in the classrooms,” Sundale spokesperson Lynette Howe said.

Thanking Sundale, Hope Schools headmaster Nigel Raw said the partnership was a great benefit for the children.

“The partnership is a huge blessing to us and goes a long way toward ensuring the sustainability of the school,” Raw said.

“The product donations help us to ensure that the children get healthy meals while they are in our care.” Choc (Childhood Cancer Foundation SA) East London regional manager Debbie Kleinenberg said Sundale’s support of their organisation had helped reduce their running costs, which had helped them assist more children.

“We are well aware of the dire circumstances facing our communities and are committed to pushing forward to achieve substantial growth that will change the lives of those most in need,” Sundale CEO Pierre van Rensburg said.
