SING OFF: Pefferville, St Johns, Parkside, and AW barnes primary school pupils took part in the fifth annual Peggy Nesta Foundation SingStar competition held at the Buffalo Flats Primary School on Wednesday October 17. Sibulele Ndatsha of AW Barnes Primary School won the overall competition walking away with R500 while Ahlumile Lena of Pefferville Primary School came 2nd place and Akhona Kondile in 3rd place – with both taking home R200 each. Peggy Nesta Foundation CEO Valda Van Heerden said: “I salute all the principals and teachers that went the extra mile that ensured that the learners participated against all odds.
