Resilience is a clear factor in the long history of Firstpro and has ensured that the business has remained on point and relevant over the years to the region. Firstpro co-director Mihlali Sogoni is a well-known figurehead in the automotive and logistics business and brings a wealth of experience to the dynamic management structure of Firstpro.
The company’s core services include machining (both conventional and CNC machining), fabrication (including specialised welding) and plastic injection moulding.
As a BBBEE level two, ISO 9001:2015 accredited company, Firstpro has the following recent milestones to note:
Designed, manufactured and installed DTSA frame line (2022);
Natis registered trailer builders (2024);
Mercedes Benz Inkanyezi Sprinter kit production (2023);
New automotive component manufacturing nomination (2025).
There has been extensive investment in the business recently.

CNC router for sprinter floors;
Leadwell V52 (supported by DTSA);
A 26-ton truck for moving components (supported by DTSA);
DN Solutions 2100G Lathe.
