Long-awaited Porsche Parade returns to East London

THE strong connection between Porsche Clubs around the world is cemented through their shared experience of one of the brand’s most beloved events, the Porsche Club Parade.

The highly anticipated festival, which is held over several days, sees Club members from around the world share their adoration and fascination for all things Porsche.

In South Africa, the Club rotates the host city every two years, with every province being given an opportunity to showcase the event. After a decade of waiting, the Parade returns to the beautiful city of East London.

“We are delighted to have this prestigious event return once again and would encourage all members of the public to experience the beauty of Porsche and the mark it has left on its South African enthusiasts over the years. There is plenty of fun to be had as dozens of vintage and high-performance models will be on display the entire weekend,” says Karl Illenberger, president of the Porsche Club, Eastern Cape.

Taking place from Friday, April 28 until May 1, the most prized Porsches from across the country will be on display. The Club invites you to come and join in on fun in the sun, considering that:

“We look forward to accommodating our club members from around the country as we strongly believe that our city is the most picturesque for this pinnacle event. We also want the people who don’t belong to the club to join us, as such an experience is earmarked in enthusiasts’ motoring calendars,” says Illenberger.
