Well-known dance teacher and choreographer Vicky Luff is opening her doors again in December for her popular Dynamic Dance Academy (DDA) classes.
Registration for DDA 2022, for dance enthusiasts young and old, closes at the end of November.
Founded in 2007, the DDA classes are a highlight on the East London performing arts calendar, however, they have not been held since 2019 due to the Covid-19 lockdown.
The classes provide an opportunity for children and adults to learn different dance styles taught by experienced teachers and choreographers.
The end of the programme culminates in a showcase at the Guild Theatre in December.
The children’s classes include Spanish, hip-hop, gumboot dancing, jazz and cabaret, among other styles, and the adult sesssions tap, belly-dancing, contemporary and pound.
Luff said: “I wanted to share my love and passion for dance and theatre with others as well as give employment and a platform for creative minds to come alive.
“It [DDA] has over the years become a highlight. To see the joy dance brings, the confidence, the smiles, the laughter, the new friends made is wonderful.”
The theme for this year’s end-of-year showcase is based on celebrating relationships and unity during the festive season.
