In 2019, SPAR EC will be taking their its campaign to the SPAR Kirkwood Wildsfees which runs from Friday June 28 until Sunday June 30.
According to SPAR EC sponsorships and events manager Alan Stapleton, said they it will be setting up a special maze for festival goers which will help educate them on all the different ways plastic can be used instead of throwing it away.
“The Wildsfees ploughs funds back into the local community so that fits in perfectly with the SPAR ethos. The nature of the festival is also about bringing families together which is another important pillar for SPAR,” he said.
The Wildsfees is an annual music festival first organised in 2001. This year’s Wildsfees musical line-up includes top talent such as Karlien van Jaarsveld, Jo Black, Ray Dylan and Robbie Wessels. For more information, visit their website.
