Woman dies in queue on health train

A patient died on the Phelophepa train this morning around 5am.

The elderly woman believed to be in her 60s died while she was queueing with hundreds of other patients.

Fellow patients called the ambulance and the police.

It is not clear where the health staff on the train were at the time.

Train manager Lynette Flusk confirmed the incident and referred all questions to their communications office.
