●Berea Gardens is hosting a Blazing Hot Bazaar and garage sale from 8.30am. All funds raised are for their service centre which subsidises hot meals and offers a wide range of activities for senior citizens. There will be plenty of pre-loved, vintage and new arrivals on sale plus scrummy hot breakfasts, baked goods, curry and rice, etc. Plants, vegetables, biltong, white elephant, books, tombola, pancakes, beads and jewellery, bric & brac, raffles, woodwork, sewing, second-hand clothes and more. Free entry.

●There are times you just need someone to talk to, to laugh and meet new people. Masithethe Counselling Services hosts a Live, Love, Laugh support group to create a space where people can meet and talk about issues that are affecting them, spread awareness, educate and encourage each other. Masithethe (formerly LifeLine) will provide the space and facilitate the process. This support group is open to all.
