The Clarendon Primary Chamber Choir, conducted by Sandra Kruger and accompanied by Natalie Sparg, recently participated in the Cantamus National Choir Festival and Competition in George. ‘Cantamus’ means ‘to sing with friends’. ‘This is exactly what we experienced, sharing our music, and being inspired by so many top school choirs from across the country. Clarendon girls experienced the beauty of a forest hike and some sightseeing in the surrounding areas. They also had the privilege of benefiting from a valuable choir workshop, connected with music lovers from across the country, and finished their adventure off by winning the trophy for the best primary school choir. An altogether unforgettable experience for our girls’ Picture: SUPPLIED
