LOCALS can get ready once again for the annual PWC Night Race which will take place this evening at 6pm at the Old Selbornian Club.

This will be the Night Race’s 14th year.

As the first road race of the year, the 5 and 10km night run might be the perfect way to stride into the new year.

“Last year we had an estimate of 2,225 participants and we are expecting more over both the 5 and 10km races,” said PWC manager Nicci Wain.

Registration continues today from 3.30pm to 5.45pm at the Old Selbornian Club.

The starting time of the 10km is 6pm and the 5km will start at 6.15pm. The entry fee is R100 for the 10km and R20 for the temporary licence. The 5km entry fee is R45.

All finishers, provided they are present, will also be eligible for lucky draw prizes on race day. For more information, contact Nicci Wain at nicci.wain@pwc.com
