Cabaret organiser Vicky Luff said in this way this is how the theatre was able to support the community and also attract bring in new people to it.
“The theatre sells tickets each night to a different organisation for a fee, and that is our guaranteed amount for the theatre. Each charity then is able to sell up to 130 tickets. It’s a win for both of us,” Luff said.
The audience can expect a fun show produced by Luff and Jacques du Plessis, featuring a live band with Brett Clur on drums, while du Plessis and Armand Steenkamp will be on the piano. The talented cast members include Jon Buitendag, Kay Mosiane and dancers, such as Emma van der Zee and Kelly Bowman.
