East London resident Xolani Nomanyama was over the moon last Friday when he received his brand new Suzuki S-presso at PNA Stationers EL on Old Transkei Road.
The fabulous prize was awarded as part of PNA’s recent #Back2School Win a Car competition, which ran from December 1 2020 until February 27.
To enter, customers had to spend R250 or more at the PNA Stationers EL store.
“I’m so excited, I don’t know how to express myself,” Nomanyama told the GO! & Express.
“I never expected this when I came to buy for my kids here [PNA Stationers]. It is humbling for me, I am very much humbled by this gesture.”
Representatives from Ronnies Motors and Suzuki Auto East London were also present to congratulate Nomanyama on his success.
Page Group general manager of strategy and CSI Penny Smith said they were grateful to everyone who took part in the #Back2School car giveaway.
“The support has been overwhelming from the East London community and we are thrilled to be able to give back in some way to our loyal customers,” she said.
“Congratulations to our winner, Mr Nomanyama. May he and his family have many more years of safe and memory-making journeys in his new Suzuki S-presso.”
Smith also thanked the staff at Marais and Smith Chartered Accountants, who audited the prize draw.
As previously reported in the GO! & Express, Marais and Smith employees Lungile Ntini and Jennifer Opie were present at PNA Stationers EL on Monday March 1 when Page Group representative Greg Hofart drew Nomanyama’s name out of 7,000 entries.
