FOR the youth of Buffalo City’s Ward 44, a dialogue and information session was held in Breidbach where officials of the National Youth Development Agency (Nyda) in partnership with the KWT Youth Advisory centre presented a successful dialogue session.

During the session a well-attended audience from Breidbach and places as far afield as Qalashe, Plateau Extension and Acorn Valley listened attentively to the speakers on the many opportunities available to them. They were also motivated to take part in youth development.

The session was initiated by the recently established South African Civic Organisation (Sanco) in the area, which received a thumbs up from the audience for bringing much-needed information to their door- step in Breidbach.

Sanco interim chairperson Deon Alexander told the audience the session was just one of the many programmes they were hoping to bring to the area.

Nyda youth practitioner Zonke Mayekiso also talked about the Entrepreneurship Development Programme, aimed at creating a conducive environment for young entrepreneurs.

BCM Youth Advisory official Siphiwo Konzaphi said he was overwhelmed by the attendance, engagement and commitment from the youth. The BCM Youth Advisory centre can be contacted at (043) 604-8453 and Nyda at (043)704-4600 for more information.
