TO celebrate the 19th annual Female Entrepreneur Awards, afro-soul singer Ntando Bangani wowed the crowd with his soulful tunes in the award ceremony hosted by the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (DAFF) held at the East London ICC recently.
Bangani’s perfomance was organised in partnership with the Eastern Cape Department of Rural Development and Agrarian Reform and Total South Africa.
Head of strategy at Total South Africa, Nyameka Makonya, said they are extremely proud to be a part of this programme that awards, celebrates and empowers women excelling in what is deemed a male dominated industry.
“It is important for us as a brand to acknowledge these phenomenal women who have challenged the status quo and we specifically chose to celebrate their achievements in the month of August as a tribute to all women who have interrupted the norm,” said Makonya.
