THE 12th PwC Nite Race took place over the weekend, getting this year’s running season off to a great start.
The event, sponsored by one of the biggest Professional Services Firms in the world, grows year after year, with more and more runners taking part.
This year, the race had almost 2500 participants, with the 10km run including 1478 runners and the 5km 998 runners.
This year was the first time electronic timing chips were used in order to ensure a seamless finish.
There were various category winners and the results will be published on the Facebook pages of Old Selbornian Road Runners and PwC East London.
The 10km male open was won by Lukhanyo Ngxoko in 32.06 minutes and the female open was won by Hanlie Botha in 36.59 minutes.
