DUST off your takkies and get ready for the PWC Night Race taking place tomorrow night, starting at 6pm at the Old Selbornian Club.

As the first road race of the year, the 5- and 10km night run might just be the perfect way to stride into the new year.
With the largest number of entrants in East London for a road running race, the PWC Night Race attracts thousands of runners and walkers each year.
Despite miserable weather, last year’s race attracted 2500 participants.
“We’re expecting about 3000 entrants for this year over both the 5- and 10km races,” said Old Selbornian Road Runners president, Sharon Eldridge.
“It’s the first race of the year and allows runners to test their fitness and get geared up for the upcoming races, it’s a perfect time to meet with friends at the beginning of the season, and to just have a great time. Hopefully there is no rain this year,” said Eldridge.
Registration takes place tonight from 5.15pm to 8pm or tomorrow from 3pm at the Old Selbornian Club.
All finishers, provided they are present, will also be eligible for lucky draw prizes on race day.
