AMALINDA Nursery is a family-run business established in the early ’80s.
Both the business and the family have grown considerably since.
In addition to a large selection of seedlings, shrubs, trees, cement pots and paving on offer, we also have a mini zoo and play area for the whole family to enjoy. The entrance fee is R10 per person, and food buckets to feed the animals are available at R5.
We hire out the lapa in the zoo area for children’s birthday parties.
Lisa runs our tea garden, which is open from Wednesday to Sunday. So come for breakfast, lunch or something sweet in the afternoon.
Over the last few years we have introduced some line shops.
In addition to the unisex hair and nail salon, there is a new shop called Stitch to Stitch. The shop does clothing alterations, as well as buy and sell secondhand clothing.
Lorraine has a little shop at the entrance to our zoo area. She sells ribbons, lace, buttons and other little haberdashery items.
