Jackie Brits turned 99 years old last Saturday and spent ‘a lovely day’ with family from as far as Johannesburg. Jackie was born on a farm in Grahamstown on July 15 1918.
She was blessed with six children – Barbara, Rita (deceased), Klemens (deceased), Marie, Mara and Pieter (deceased). She also has 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
