Edith Bellfield celebrated her 80th birthday here in East London on July 29.
One of the things she said she wanted to do before she was too old, was have a ride on a Harley Davidson motorcycle. Her family made her dream come true on the day. ‘The only problem was that we couldn’t get her off the bike … she just wanted to ride again and again,’ said her son David Roux. Bellfield had eight children; David, Pamela, Charmaine, Karen, twins Adrian (deceased) and Diane, Wayne and Stanley (deceased). She has 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren Picture: SUPPLIED
