Selborne sizzle in Dale derby

Selborne made a great start to their cricket season with some very convincing wins over their rivals Dale College from King William’s Town at the weekend.

The first team won by 212 runs after scoring 304 for five, with Jason Raubenheimer the star with 92 not out and 2 for 16 with ball in hand. Selborne College’s second team scored 350 for 9 and knocked Dale over for 125, winning by 225 runs. The U15A side bowled Dale out for just 113 after having amassed 283 for 9. The U14A match was a bit closer with Selborne scoring 252 for three, Dale knocked over for 172
