Lilyfontein’s Eco Club, headed by matric pupils Esona Mgoma and Hluma Mnyengeza, had the privilege of celebrating Arbor Week with a tree-planting ceremony at Lilyfontein School on September 5. The event was arranged by the South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI) and the 12 trees the group planted were sponsored by the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries.
