FREE SCREENING: In an effort to raise awareness for World Diabetic Day on November 14, the East London branch of the Diabetic Support Group will provide blood glucose screening daily at Vincent Park Centre. ●The East London Branch of the Diabetic Support Group meet at the Regent Hotel’s Terrace Room from 2.45pm to 4pm for an awareness talk. Guest speaker Dhaneshnee Pillay will talk on eye health in diabetes from an optometric perspective, cranial sacral therapy and its benefits, especially in diabetic management and mindfulness in diabetes. ●The SPCA East London host their open day and market at the animal sanctuary. Go and enjoy the beautiful gardens which are part of the Pam Golding Gardens of East London show and stroll through the kennels and interact with the animals. There will be food stalls, crafts, music, fun for the kids, entertainment and more. All the cool cats and hot dogs will be there, so join them.
