Hilda Stander looked elegant as she presented awards to pupils as Beaconhurst School’s guest of honour. As parents heard, Stander retired at the end of the school year and ‘will be sorely missed by all’, said the school. ‘We hope that she enjoys this new chapter in her life after her many years of positive influences in both pupils’ and staff members’ lives.’
