Mrs SA finalist aims to show women they can do it

PASSIONATE business woman and Mrs SA Finalist, Unetsie Steenberg-Botha, 38, from Gonubie aims to inspire women to achieve their goals.

Steenberg-Botha who is a business woman, dietician in the corporate industry, a trained chef and a qualified coach has been selected as one of the Tammy Taylor Mrs SA Top 100 Semi-finalists for 2018

“I want to share my passion for “doing it all” and encourage working women, moms and wives to be courageous enough to believe in their own passion and niche. I am excited about this opportunity that has crossed my path, and would like to use it to inspire other women, young and old, to achieve their goals,” she said.

The wife and dedicated mother seeks to teaching communities how to cook balanced and healthy foods with minimal resources.

“Seeing that I have diverse talents and I work with people of all stages of life. Teaching them how to cook will help them fight diseases of lifestyle that so many face. Diabetes, high blood pressure and cholesterol. That will also kill a fee old wifes tale,” she said.

She  believes that women should support and empower each other rather than compete.

“As incredible things can happen when women stand together. We are working mothers and wives who know how to love, inspire and motivate,” said Steenberg-Botha.

25 women will be selected to continue the journey as finalists, for Tammy Taylor Mrs South Africa, which will be announced at the Annual Charity Ball on 29th of June at Centre Court, Emperors Palace.

All proceeds of this event will go to the pageant’s official Charity, Women4Women South Africa.
