Former Irish actor Jack Gleeson was born on this day in 1992. Avid tv watchers will know him for his critically acclaimed role in Game of Thrones where he played the villainous child-prince Joffrey Baratheon. Gleeson has since retired from acting and, after intitially pursuing a career in academia, now helps run his own theatre company called Collapsing Horse with his friends from university.
