Sonwa Sakuba Performing Arts Foundation is giving away two scholarships to deserving youngsters to participate in the upcoming Dynamic Dance Academy’s annual Holiday Club that will take place at the Arts Theatre in Southernwood, East London from July 2 – 11.
The founder, Sonwa Sakuba, said the foundation works to provide and create sustainable platforms within the arts for the youth and artists from all communities.

“With world class skills such as training and mentoring, an emphasis on the creation of original works and techniques, and a creative and open performance environment with artistic and individual expression on the forefront for the development of arts and culture at all levels and ages,” he said.
He added that winners of the scholarship will get an opportunity to participate at The Dynamic Dance Academy’s holiday club, a club that is aimed at children from ages 6 and above which will train kids in numerous genres such a as Hip Hop, Contemporary, Kwaito, Tap, Pantsula, Spanish, Classical, Belly Dance, Gumboot, Bollywood, Afrofusion, Jazz and many more.
To stand a chance to win a scholarship, submit a video clip of yourself dancing and then provide a motivational speech as to why you feel that you deserve to win the scholarship.
