The Super 12 Rugby Competition kicked off last weekend with Buffaloes Rugby Club hosting the Old Selbornians Rugby Club and losing the encounter 36-10.
The East London Police Rugby Club travelled to Uitenhage to face Progress Rugby Club. It was a close game which ended with Progress emerging 25-23 victors.
The league will continue on Saturday with Old Selbornians taking on Star of Hope in Uitenhage. The Buffalo Rugby Club will be hosted by Park Rugby Club in Port Elizabeth and the East London Police Ruby Club will host Humansdorp-based team, Kruisfontein. All matches will kick off at 3.30pm.
The EC Super League consist of 12 teams that compete for the coveted cup. The final of the competition takes place on against each other with the final match taking place on March 16.
Mdantsane-based team Swallows Rugby Football Club were the 2018 champions which allowed them to play in the Gold Cup and the Border League.
