
The Out The Green Box Nite Series draws to a close on August 16 with the last race taking place at the East London Golf Club.
Now in its sixth year, the race has seen participants run a distance of 5 to 6km in all sorts of terrain under the night sky.
Co-organiser Trystan Viaene said that they have focused their efforts on helping the Guardians of Hope charity organisation.
“We have been aware of Guardian’s’ work over the past few years and would like to assist with their call for products by facilitating a drop-off zone during our registration days,” Viaene said.
Guardians of Hope provides a home, love and care to abandoned and destitute babies. in need.
The non-profit organisation is in need of Lactogen 1, 2 and 3; Isomil 2; nappies size 1 to 5; Johnson’s top-to-toe wash; baby shampoo; dishwashing liquid and washing powder.
The final race event will include a limited stock of hoodies available.
“Each event of the series has featured limited edition apparel and this year, a new, tailored hoodie is up for grabs to keep you warm on your future adventures,” Won Adventure organiser Bruce Viaene said.
