Call to help Stoney Drift resident rebuild her home

It’s All About Image public officer Klaus Rodemann is calling for help in assisting Stoneydrift resident Nymeka Diko, whose shack burned down last year.

Diko, who is disabled and requires a walking aid, lives with her four young children, the oldest of whom is 14.

She managed to save enough money to get a new shack built, but all the items that she had managed to save from the fire were stolen while in storage.

Rodemann said they had partnered with Global Mercy Missions to collect essential items to help see Diko through this tough time.

“If anybody could donate whatever they can, I am sure we can bring order to Diko’s life,” he said.

Rodemann said they were looking to collect building material – such as sand, stone, cement, door frames, corrugated sheeting and so on – as well as essential household items.

You can deposit a donation to the following account:Name: About ImageBank: CapitecAccount number: 1656305400Branch code: 470010Reference: Nymeka
