Those looking for some quality outdoor entertainment will love the upcoming Twilight Up-Market.
It will be held at The Valley Re-Creation Estate on Saturday March 27.
The Valley Re-Creation Estate was founded by three East London women – Lisa Jones, Khanyisa Mbonga and Ilna Freiwirth – and is focused on providing fun events and “opening up the land for people”.
This will be their second market, the first taking place in December.
“What we’re trying to create, and what was very successful last year, is a ‘patio lifestyle’,” Freiwirth said.
“Because we’ve got all this space available, people would grab something to drink and eat, they’d go sit under the magic tree or walk on the farm.
“There’s ample space for everyone so we’re very Covid-19 compliant.”
Jones said that the market will have something for everyone.
“There’s lots of very good food stalls, there’s a full bar, gin bar, cocktails, beer and then clothing and craft,” she said.
There will also be live music to entertain visitors.
“It’s a safe space for families to come and enjoy,” said Jones.
