The extended closing date of January 26, 2023 gives you plenty of time to search through old photos or take new ones this Festive season and submit them as entries.

Remember, there is no limit to the number of photos you submit.

So, send us your best photographic interpretation of festive cheer, and you could win from a range of prizes.

Prizes include a family getaway, gift vouchers and meal vouchers kindly sponsored by Mansfield Private Reserve, Gussie’s Gifting & Stationery, EMR Kitchen situated at Buffs Club, Pot O’Curry, O’Donoghue’s Restaurant and Vincent Park Centre.

  • … Black and White or Colour photographs
  • … Recent or old photos
  • … fun, happy snaps of people and/or animals
• There’s no limit to the number of photos that one can enter
• Eligible entries must ideally must have ..
  • … been e-mailed to gocontests@arena.africa
  • … the Subject: Photo Competition
  • … the Entrant’s Full name and daytime contact number in the body of the e-mail
  • … include a brief description about the photo (i.e. where and, if possible, when the photo was taken, who is pictured (name of person/s and/or animal/s)
• Format of photographs
  • jpg format only
  • no pdf’s nor printed copies accepted
  • no edited / filtered / watermarked photos will be accepted.
• Prize information
  • Winners are to arrange with the sponsors directly regarding the redemption of the prizes.
  • The prize sponsors reserve the right to withdraw their prize/s or amend their prizes should the need arise.
  • Prizes are non-negotiable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • All prizes will be awarded at a prize-giving, details of which will be provided by a representative of the GO! & Express to the winners.
  • All prize allocations are at the discretion of the GO! & Express
• Who can enter
  • Only Amateur photographers can enter.
  • All ages are welcome, however, if younger than 18 you will need to mention this and parental consent may be required.
  • Entrants must presently reside in East London, South Africa or within the official GO! & Express distribution area (including Kei Mouth, Kidds Beach, Birha)
• By submitting your photos you …
  • … agree that your photograph/s can be used for all and any promotional material by the GO! & Express newspaper and/or GO! & Express Live – not limited to the promotion of this or similar competitions. You also agree to all terms and conditions
  • … you confirm that you were the photographer and are not submitting them on behalf of someone else nor are they someone else’s property
• The GO! & Express reserves the right to cancel or post-pone or amend the competition and/or it’s prize allocation should it be deemed necessary to do so.
