The talented Schultz family is set to perform in the Where Gospel Meets Jazz showcase at the Guild Theatre on December 2, and GO! & Express readers stand to win tickets to the show.
Entries open on Thursday, November 17, and close at 12 midday on Monday, November 28.
The Schultz family has been making a name for themselves in the US with appearances on television shows such as Nickelodeon’s America’s Most Musical Family, the Harry Connick Jr Talk Show, and NBC’s talent show, Little Big Shots.
The well-known family band includes Justin-Lee, a 15-year-old multi-instrumental music prodigy on vocals and keyboard, his sister Jamie-Lee on drums, and their father Julius on lead guitar.
They will also be accompanied by Carlo Jooste on bass guitar.
The event will also be a celebration of Harmony House’s 12-year anniversary.
Harmony House, a music ensemble, has been spreading the gospel through its music for the last 12 years.
They have also created a platform for many musicians to showcase their talents.
William Wildeman, who has been a part of Harmony House since the beginning, said he hoped people would “enjoy being in the presence of the Lord” at the show.
“People can expect a presentation of diverse music genres that will connect with their desire, passion, and expectation from the night,” Wildeman said.
“Above all, people will witness how to present in excellence the gifts, skills and talents that God has blessed us with, to His people, so that He alone can get the glory.”
Alton Zakay, one of the artists associated with Harmony House, said he hoped the show would be a spiritual experience for all who attended.
“I am extremely excited about this event and I just know it’s going to be a historical one.
“What people can expect from me is that I will give my best and share a special moment with them through my music.
“Above all though, I want them to experience God,” said Zakay.
The GO! & Express is giving away one set of double tickets to the show.
