On March 15, Siyavuya Mqalo and Nomtha Gobe from Click Learning successfully launched a digital learning lab at Parkside Primary School. Click Learning (previously known as Click Foundation) brings digital literacy and numeracy programmes into no fee or low fee paying government primary schools, in an effort to build a solid foundation for a better future.
In South Africa, over 78% of Grade 4 learners still can’t read for meaning and over 63% of Grade 5 learners still can’t calculate with confidence.
Parkside PS is one of 41 schools that we have partnered with in BCM, Sarah Baartman District and Chris Hani District, with 20 more schools on our launch agenda for 2023 term 2.
Click Learning would like to thank the SMT and SGB at Parkside PS for partnering with us and are looking forward to partnering with more schools in the Eastern Cape to reach their goal to impact 1 million learners nationally by 2026.
