Round eight of the Border Karting Championship was an action-packed day of karting, held on Saturday November 2.
Two new karters made their 2024 debuts: Callum de Coning and Zizi Maselwa in junior four-strokes.
In 125 clubmans’ two-strokes, Luke Rens took the overall victory for the day. Lincoln Randall wrapped up the 125 Border junior clubmans’ championship taking first in the class from Bloemfontein’s Andre Froneman.
In junior four-strokes, Redd Scholtz took the overall win for the day from Akanya Mabusela and Connor Scheepers. Calvin Reabow showed the pace that had been missing from some previous meetings taking all three heats for four-stroke seniors and the driver of the day award. In four-stroke masters Andrew van der Westhuizen took the overall win for the day.
